Just Finished first Summer with my Bambi

Grizzly6 here. Just had a great summer and three trip with 2004 16' Bambi. Everything was great, and we put in some miles. Trip from Califormia to Colorado, then trip up to Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks and last one on mountain biking trip to Fruita, CO. We did stop at Palisades for some wine tours, (it's a must if you're in the area). Anyway, winter time and always looking for tips on winterizing. Griz

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

Congratulations on a successful season of Airstreaming. If you have some photos of your travels, we would love to see them.

The VERY BEST way to winterize is spend the winter in Phoenix or Tucson!

I second "Foiled Again's" comment -- we don't have to do anything to winterize our Bambi. In fact we do more camping in the winter than in the summer, because you don't have to shovel sunshine!

Another vote for a warmer climate and no more winterizing. I'm thinking just one more winter in Wisconsin, then it will be Tucson six months of the year..

By the way, just make sure you drain all of your water system including the water heater (if you have one). I blew the top out of a water heater in my pop up a couple years ago because I forgot to drain it. Messy and expensive!!
