Best advice. Tighten ALL the fittings on the sink traps and anywhere you have plumbing pipe fittings.

Welcome and congratulations on your purchase. We almost bought the same trailer but couldn't pass up the Pendelton. Yours was our second choice.
My advice is take short weekend trips at first close to home to get used to it. Make out checklists for hooking up and breaking camp and one for when you get where your going. There is a lot to learn and just when you think you won't forget anything, the checklist reminds you of something you forgot.

Safe travels.

Congratulations, Welcome.

It's official, you have the Aluminum sickness. There is no cure but a lot of traveling, meeting interesting people and adult refreshments will help.

Don't forget the thingamajigs, whatchamacallits, and dohickies.. Don't leave home without them.

Hello and nice to meet you. There is a wealth of information on AirForums. You're wise to sign up.

Our family has been Airstreaming since the early eighties. I distinctly remember seeing my father in law's new 86 Limited for the first time and thinking it is very much like a business jet; small, lightweight, and very luxurious. They traveled all over North America for the next 20 years and loved it. They spent many winters in Texas Airstream Harbor in Zavalla. Made good friends there.

We have the trailer now and are doing the same thing. It's been in the family since new. Makes retirement very enjoyable. Airstreams are unique travel trailers, built much different than the typical travel trailer. Join some of the Airstream clubs, join a rally or caravan, and meet a lot of nice folks.

You're in for a lot of new adventures in your Airstream.

We highly recommend Cooper Lake SP just north of Sulphur Springs. Good weekend trip from Fort Worth

Congratulations! We have the same Front Dinette floor plan, terrific design and adaptable. We made no major changes for the first two years, then got serious about customizing for our extended travel needs, over 1,000 nights in it so far.
Have a great time.

Congratulations! If you have any qualms about how it works, what to do, or just want to be close to home on your first outings, try staying at North Texas Airstream Community in Hillsboro. The folks there will know how everything works and it will start off your new adventure nicely.

I'm focusing on first trailer. Does that mean maybe more to come? A collection? I second on hearing about your learning curve, it can be quite entertaining.
