just bought a 24' argosy motorhome 1977

Hello all, I just braught home a 1977 Argosy Motorhome,

Found it on Craigslist for $2500.00, has a few issues, but roadworthy.
Thaught for a while today I baught a dud, but I got her going again.
Stopped to get gas and went to leave, and no power to the dash!
To make a long story short, wire feeding the Ignition switch broke off the Starter Solinoid, so I ended up running a jumper from the broken wire to the Main Battery, and problem temporarily solved.
I'll have to drop the starter to hook it up in the proper place.

Anyways, I've got to go through everything one system at a time yet to see what works and what needs some TLC, but looking forward to using it!

Enjoy Yourselves
-Matt

Matt, welcome aboard!

We have a 20' 1974 Argosy motorhome and a 1984 310 motorhome. Airforums has a section dedicated for motorhome specific information, it can be found at http://www.airforums.com/forums/f156/ Lots of good information available there.

Post some pictures if you can of your new toy.

Good luck!

Brad

Matt,

Welcome to the forums and congrats on the new rig. Hope you will be able to enjoy it some the first summer. Karen and I were able to get our Minuet useable for the first summer of ownership and it sure makes it easier to keep working on the unit if you get some use during the process.
