My wife and I (of 36 years) just purchased a 1969 Globetrotter 21' and we are totally psyced about restoring it. We are so fortunate to find this one just miles from our home - and it has been in the same family since it was brand new. So, yes we do need to do some work but it is in outstanding condition.
I m a retired U.S. Coast Guard CPO who served in Viet Nam while I was in the Army. I'm into wood turning, furniture and cabinet making, photography and water coloring. Originally from the East Coast we now live in the great North West - Spokane, WA. We moved here three years ago after spending thirty years in Alaska.
Looking forward to meeting other community members. I'm sure we will rely on "you" for a lot of assistance on this new project.
Welcome, First I must say thankyou for your service to this fine country. This forum is a wealth of information with a great members. Good luck to You and the Misses with your new GT. Robert
Welcome! I know your neck of the woods very well as I studied Architecture at WSU in Pullman and spent a lot of time in Spokane. There are some beautiful old homes on the banks over the river that I used to admire during my visits.

Welcome, Joe, from west of the mountains. Congrats on obtaining your Globetrotter (pictures? please?!). We have a very active group in the Northwest, so hopefully we can meet one day at a rally. Good luck with your new project!

Being born and raised in Spokane, with family still there, welcome to the little club of very cool kids (code for adults with cool toys)... The GT is a very grand little trailer! If you need help this site will lead you in the right direction!
Hi Mel - Thanks for the welcome ... now I want you to come to Spokane and make my new "old" globetrotter look like your airstream - or at least share with me where to begin! Your phots are outstanding (and I use to teach Photography) really impressed me. Well, honestly I don't know what got me the most - the airstream pictures or the classic cars.
Welcome to the forum! Good luck! BTW a service manual is one of best tools if you don't already have one and take lots of pictures --- and post em too!
