I've Joined The Dark Side

.... Or so it seems. My husband and I have just purchased a 73 Sovereign with a rear bedroom. Plans are to gut it, fix the rear end sag, seal the leaks, and basically start from scratch. I feel a mix of fear and excitement. Here goes.

Thanks. Today, amid all the mouse droppings, we discovered that the A/C works. Thanking God for minor miracles.

Speak you Airstream also? The force is strong with this one.

Ah, "Bernie", Texas. Spent many a weekend at Camp Bullis amongst the rattle snakes, mesquite and sand. Loved every minute of it.

We have a '73 also. I'll bet most of the systems are basically the same. Holler if y'all need something.

Jim

Thanks for the welcome, y'all. I'll start a photo album soon. Right now, I have tons of stuff going on non-Airstream related. I picked the perfect time to start a project. [Is there a special font for sarcasm?]

I have decided instead of worrying about all the things that don't work, I'm going to make a list of things I don't have to buy, like windows... and hubcaps. This keeps me sane. We are testing the gas this evening. Wish us luck.
