It looks like we'll take the plunge!

Hi guys! It looks like we've found our AS. She's a 22 foot '67 International in decent shape. The seller is making some repairs before we take possession this weekend. He's been great and has been sending us photos of his work as he's doing it.

There are no AS dealers near us, but there is one near the in-laws house in Dublin, TX. (Great folks there, by the way.) He looked at the photos we had and he said it looked like the seller knew what he was doing and the camper was probably something worth having. He also gave us some advice on what to look for and some more questions to ask.

I'm sure we'll have lots and lots of questions as we get into this. We have two young boys and have been camping in our popup since the little one was 6 months old. The AS is a huge step up for us. I'm not only excited about the camper, I'm really excited about not walking to the bathhouse in the middle of the night. The fact that I get to decorate around that Turquoise blue potty is just an added bonus!

Loving the forum so far. You guys seem super helpful and very knowledgable in what we've read so far. Jennnifer and Joe

Jennifer & Joe - The late 60's are the best years, but I am biased because I have a 66 Tradewind. Wecome to the forum. We are all in this together. Dan

Vintage is better than the new ones. Enjoy and take care of what you got now.
