Introduction New Here
Hello All,
I live in the Panhandle of Florida between Panama City and Destin. I live over looking the Gulf of Mexico and a lake called Eastern Lake. If anyone has never seen the Panhandle you should visit since it has lots of nature to enjoy, hiking trails through the dunes and forest here.
I pull a 32 ft 1986 Excella that I am learning all about as I travel around Florida & Georgia. This last trip I found out I had mice in my storage and they got into my water heater and chewed threw my wiring too. What an experience and having two men replace the water heater some piping and wiring problems at $95.00 an hr. not sure if that really is the going rate.
Hope everyone is having a good summer so far. Have to say mine has not really been a bad one and have enjoying staying at State Parks here in Florida as I travel.
Anyhow hope to know a few of you on here.
David

Welcome to the forum, David. That is a pretty area that you call home. The Gulf is such an unbelievable blue, and it's your front yard! Are you fulltiming in your Excella?

Hi David - welcome to the forums! Ouch - those were some expensive mice that invaded your Excella. Glad you're out enjoying your summer and spending plenty of time traveling. Share some pictures if you have them!

Hi David. Been down your way a few times. Nice part of the country when the hurricanes don't blow through. My Airstream dealer is about that rate for labor so that would be in line for my area.

Hey Jack,
Thanks for the reply about rates for work. This was a pretty major repair bill I was thinking. This part of Florida has a fantastic place to go camping and hiking.
Thanks, David

Hi Sam,
Nice to meet you am also glad to see someone close by who shares an interest in Airstreams. I'm pretty new to this but am enjoying learning about them. I'm South of 30A between Rosemary Beach and Seaside. I really enjoy living here even with having to deal with the hurricanes. I guess I am just into the nature of it. Hope to hear from you again
