introduction

My husband and I just bought a 2008 Airstream. We have been wanting to try this for several years and finally will have the time. Our interests are varied but especially love to hike, bike, fish, photograph and kayak. Enjoy history as well as art.

Suggestions for first time adventure!

We live in Northern Maryland and are looking for a place near Gettysburg PA to explore the area. However, some of the rv campgrounds are too full of amenities that we aren't interested in and don't need. Does anyone have a suggestion for a quieter place where we can still explore the historical area?

Yes, there is a State Park off Rt 15 in Md, next door to Camp David, beautiful, quiet, a bit of trip to PA but worth it. The name is escapes me at the moment but I was struck by the beauty and quiet of this park.
