Introducing R2DTUBE!

We finally did it!! After a year of looking, we found and bought a perfect little trailer! It's a 2007 Bambi Ocean Breeze 16'. It's in PERFECT, almost brand new condition. AND it was practically right around the corner, in our very same zip code! Didn't have to drive cross country to get it, thank God! Anyway, we're so happy and excited and can't wait to hit the road! Okay, about the name. We thought the trailer kind of looks like R2D2 from Star Wars, almost as if poor old R2D2 was recycled into a trailer... okay okay, I'll stick to my day job and leave comedy to the professionals! Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and the new (to us) baby! I've been mostly lurking on the forums for quite a while as olson66. Thought I'd change over to the new name to go with the trailer. Thank you to everyone for all the great advice, tips, and ideas. I know I'll have a million more questions once we really get going. I'm so happy to have found these forums! Happy Camping and maybe we'll see you out on the road!

R2DTube is a fantastic name!!! Congratulations. Too bad I don't have the R2D2 night light I made in ceramics for my son to give you!
But maybe you can get a custom door bell.

Congratulations!!! I'll bet you will love that trailer, we had a 2005 International 16ft bambi (didn't have the fun stuff that comes with your Ocean Breeze) and we wish we still had it now, it was awesome and such an easy size of trailer to tow.

It does look like R2D2

Great name, and what a great find. We love the floorplan of the 16 ft Bambi.
