Introduce myself

Late but better than never !

Hi Airstream owners,
Long time ago I started to dream about a long silver airstream, but it’s not that easy in Europe to get an cheap one.
Many years I have forgotten this dream.
1/1/2 year ago I read a newspaper and I saw an announcement for selling a airstream, and the best this Land yacht was only 40 km far away.
Than I had to decide! drive to watch or don’t drive, and I told myself its better stay at home
Don’t look at anything specially any airstream and go to bed.
Many words one result. I went to that place and I bought this 1975 Sovereign Landyacht, and I promise you I didn’t now what I do.
No I know it much better, and on one hand I m lucky because if I look at some pictures at the forum I had a lot of look with the condition of the Land yacht specially the frame.
It t took a long time to found all the leaks, to change the heater the water heater, new curtains, and so on and soon.
Today I was the most time under the Airstream to fix the with water tank, because I had a leak on the top of the the tank and the water came trough the floor and the new floor stand up, because of the humiti.
Anyway I don’t wanted to buy an Airstream Vintage Trailer, and I still love this bullet.

All the best from me.

Greetings, Nox! So glad you are sharing the story of your Sovereign on the Forum. Only 40 km away from you? Then fate must have meant for you to have that Land Yacht.

Best wishes on your continued progress.

Willkommen nox,

I took a look at your pictures. Do the words on the side of your trailer mean "Firemaker"? Also you seem to be a chainsaw artist as well as builder of log cabins. Is that all correct? Looks like you definitely have fun!

Hi HootMon,
thats right so far feuermacher means firemaker.
We are doing Fire performance as a sort of business.
The story with the chainsaw is different. We found a really quiet place in a big forest in the Bavarian black forest to stay for overnight and a festival.
We really slept deep and well since the chainsaw begun to work The chainsaw man did his performance close to our quite place behind the AS. For sure I Looked stupid out of the back window and than I had a nice cup of coffee and a nice chat withe the Chainsaw man.
bye
