Intro• "love shack"

Hello to everyone, we are so excited to have purchased our travel trailer and look so forward to meeting new people and families in our travels. This is a dream come true for us. We have wanted an airstream for a long time and we found the right one for us. I want to thank the person we bought it from for making it a wonderful experience. This forum has been so useful, thank you to everyone who shares their experiences and look for us to do the same. We are a family of 8. We are a blended family so 2 are not always with us but we have a large family so theirs always excitement in our lives. Everyone is ready for new adventures! We will be using ours as we renovate it. We bought ours knowing that this was ours for life we want no other it will be brought up to today's more modern . I'm very tech savvy as per my husband is all hands on so like the camper we will be putting the to together to bring out the best. So I hope the introduction to our family and our wonderful new travel trailer give you an idea that we our a hardworking American family who love the luxuries of life and just has hard as we work we play. We look forward to meeting all of you online and through our new adventures!

Congratulations! Have a great summer travelling. Camping is the best experience any kid could have, so I hope your family builds lots of memories together.

Congratulations, and welcome! I find it relaxing to surf the site. It's fun to hear about what others are doing with and to their homes on wheels.

We just purchased a 72' Sovereign ourselves! Right now she is at the RV hospital getting a new refrigerator, having the old univolt replaced, and getting the propane lines checked! Next she is going to have a couple of windows replaced.

We called our very first travel trailer the Love Shack. She was only a 14footer and not an Airstream. Our next trailer was an 05 Airstream that we have been calling the Barestream. So far, we have been calling our newest ol' girl "The Queen". We also have a 1955 Spartan Executive Manson named EMMA. Naming your trailer is VERY important!

We find it a very helpful tool. So much wisdom and experience is here. There is a price tag for that. Thank you, and happy traveling.

Our sat idol for 14 years. The owner passed and his wife hated to let it go but needed repairs to her home. It's in great condition except the waterlines somehow the water fill door was opened and over the years it filled with water and the lines broke. Thank goodness no one tried running them so no damage. But it needs new lines. Kids broke the back window so that will need replaced. She had he son inlaw replace it with pexiglass so very little damage. Vista windows need replace gas has leaked out and there not very clear. They lost the key when selling it so they broke the deadbolt to get in. So that will have to be replaced but other wise great. Were looking at something almost 40 years old so to expect to have to do nothing would be unreasonable. I'm happy it's so little and very very little damage. We want to modernize it so we weren't looking for perfect. Just close lol. Thank you for your warm welcome and I hope the best for yours!

Congratulations on the newest baby in your life
I'm sure you'll find ways to make everyone fit and feel comfortable. I believe it's "pizza chop" that has a very large family on the forums too...
And many many families of slightly less kids, but no less fun!!
I think growing up with an Airstream and camping together as a family would be the most amazing memory-making time in their lives. I look forward to hearing about your adventures, and maybe we'll meet out there sometime!
Rae
