Hello... I noticed another one of these threads and thought I would give it a shot. I am an IT Manager currently searching for work with very little luck. I have over 20 years of experience ranging from technical lead to department head.

In June of 2006, I decided to take a break from my career to spend more time with my family. Due to my strong desire to return to the workforce coupled with my youngest child attending school full-time this coming fall, I am focused on finding an opportunity to resume my career.

I currently reside in northeast Ohio, however, I would consider relocation for the right opportunity. Any assistance would greatly appreciated.

Hi Robert, I have had a lot of luck looking on the local craigslist job listings. A lot of high tech jobs are listed there now. I'd have a job if I was willing to travel a bit, but we live way out in the country, so I was looking for telecommuting jobs which are a lot harder to come by. I'm a software engineer myself.
