We are considering purchasing a 1960 Airstream 22' Safari from a seller in Highland, MI. (I won't list his name). Everything sounds good. He seems genuine. However it would be nice to get a second opinion from someone who knows this trailer, or the seller, before we drive 700 miles to see it.
The best would be to have an inspector look at it for you that's local were the trailers at. You can find one one the forms or make and topic to look for one. You want to make sure the floor is good, no leaks, and the stuff works. The inspector will tell you. Now some people charge a fee and others is gas money and some no charge.
