I'm new to the group and from Oklahoma

Hello Everyone, I'm new to the group and I purchased my first Airstream. I paid $1000.00 for a 1972 Overlander. Well that alone should let you know I'm a risk taker, because who is going to run into one of these at that price and be ready to hit the road on a trip. That's going to be a while, but I'm looking forward to the challenge ahead in fixing and playing with my new Airstream and making that first trip in the future.

Kathryn

Welcome to the forum Kathryn! Congrats on your brave decision on your Airstream! I did a similar thing a number of years back.... bought our Bambi off eBay sight unseen knowing full well it would be a major restoration. But.... hubby was willing to take on the challenge. It was a wonderful experience, and now that she has been on the road about 5 years we have some marvelous memories under our hats! Planning is a great deal of fun, so have at it! Post some pics and keep us informed of your progress... we love that kind of stuff!
