I'm new!

Hello,
I guess I am supposed to post to this site since I am new. I found this site by accident while trying to find places to look for used Airstream trailers.

I have been an Airstream fan for quite a few years, having purchased a new 1977 Argosy to go on a junket around the USA for about 3 months. Came back and bought a new 1979 31 foot Airstream which led me to get involved with the Airstream dealer from who I purchased the trailer for about 3 years until I moved to the Seattle area. While at the dealership, I purchased the trade-ins and refurbished them from front to rear and had a great time while learning a lot about them.

After moving to Seattle, I refurbished two "Classic" Motorhomes and ended up with a 95 Landyacht motorhome and then a 96 Landyacht Diesel motorhome.

Been without something for a few years and now am looking for another trailer to redo and do some short trips in. So that is the long shot of how I found this site.

Sorry about the long story, most of which is probably not of much interest but didn't know what else to contribute right now. I will keep in touch with the site and check on some of the forums......probably more so if I finally find the trailer I want and be in the need for trading information.
Thanks for a great and informative site.

Welcome

Hi Richard and Welcome to the forums. I personally liked the story. I like learning about people and why they like Airstreams. This is the best site!! We ran across it looking for help trying to fix something about 8 months ago and have been hooked every since. The people are great and are willing to answer any questions you might have. Good Luck on your search. Are you looking for a MOHO or any type of Airstream?

Welcome, and glad you found "us". This is a great place with a lot of folks with similar experience in one form or another to yours. Have you tried Craigs list as part of your search?

craigslist: seattle-tacoma classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events

My buddy just picked up a Flying Cloud in Edmonds found on Craigs list.
