I'm just following instructions!

My husband and I are proud owners of a 1981 27ft. Excella 11. I got it for mothers day and have been playing in it ever since. We're planning some remolding this winter to give it the Jimmy Buffet look (I know, he does'nt like trailers). I know we will be asking questions along the way. Wish us luck!!
We are planning to attend the Beverly Beach Bash in Oregon next week-end and as I was looking at the rallys here on the forum, found quite a group in the forum crowd. This is our first airstream event and we are looking forward to it. See you down the trail. blue pearl

Welcome Pearl, the Jimmy Buffett look has so many ways to go. Yes Jimmy does disparage trailers in one of his songs. He also records out of an Airstream on another album. I already have a Buffett look going I have lost most of my hair and have blown out a flip flop.

Enjoy Jim

Hey Pearl, welcome. Not to worry, JB's distain for trailers is more about the square mobile home type trailers that are the low rent scourge of the Keys. a.k.a. "huricane attractors"
I'm certain that Jimmy's love of aircraft would make him a fan of Airstreams too.
I'd take a little time and think about your favorite JB song... like you've only got ONE!.... and then use that theme for your decor. Fins up!

You could remove the front goucho, and install a tiki bar where it used to be--after all, it's five o'clock somewhere...
