Howdy!

My husband and I are currently on our way to take possession of our first travel trailer, a new 2017 International Serenity 23FB this morning. We’re so excited to start this next phase of our life. If you have any essential knowledge for us on our first trip towing it the 8 hour trip home, please feel free to let me know. We look forward to many trips, rallies, and connections via this awesome app!

Welcome

Welcome to the club. Come on up to the Air Midwest spring rally next month in Pineville Mo. Good tomes to be had.

With original Goodyear tires do not exceed 65mph.

Enjoy your first days and take your time setting it up to suit you.

Plan storage for maximizing the space.

Just enjoy and everything will fall into place.

Hello from Colorado: Welcome to Air Forums and the Airstream community. It's a great way to travel around. We have enjoyed our Airstream Adventures over these last years.

Welcome to the forum. College Station, AR will now be known to me as the place where some good folks have a 23 IS. Enjoy your new coach. It will get you a lot of smiles as you make miles.

So, do tell. Where is the first shake down trip to be? There is a Branson thread. That gives you credit for leaving the state. How about Cloud 9 in Hot Springs? Or Toad Suck in Bigalow? Or Tar Camp in Redfield? You are going to have so much fun.

Check the weather. Travel slow and safe. GOAL - Get Out And Look before you move. WaHoo! It's going to be fun. Pat

I’m not sure how it happened but the system has me in College Station, AR, but we’re in TX. How can I change my account info.? Settings don’t give me that option.

Welcome to the forums!

If you click on userCP in the upper tool bar and look left, you will see edit details and other tools to assist you.

As for first timer tips: Utube everything and anything. Somewhere, somehow, somebody has a video answer to any RV question you have. It may not be Airstream specific, but it will help.

Take it slow and ALLWAYS use a spotter to back up your trailer. That spotter should first look up at possible obstructions like building overhangs, soffits, low branches etc, etc; and have a means of communication with the driver that can be understood, whether it be hand signals, or even better, a walkie talkie.

Cheers
Sidekick Tony

Now, that is interesting. Google Maps put me in CS TX when I was looking up CS AR. So, ignore the shake down suggestions. But enjoy the coach. Pat
