How Does This stack up to an 21-22 ft. AS?
Check the pics here:
Keygarv Travel Trailers: Photo Gallery
It is 600 lbs heavier, 3 inches taller, 1/2 ft narrower, 2 inches wider for the bed. It extends out with the queen to 25' total. Same price as a used 92' AS 21'. Enclosed bottom so it reduces drag. 50 gal fresh water, 40 black, 40 grey, 60 lpg., outside grill, bunk beds in front, flat screen TV. It's an 07, but what about resale with it vs. the AS? Outback has a transferable warranty.

FWIW, the 21' Airstream will probably be worth about as much in five years as it is worth now. Hard to estimate but I'd guess this Outback model will depreciate rapidly.

My Airstream is older than I am, and it's going up in value. Too bad I can't say the same for me

It's a plastic box held together by staples. Essentially a disposable RV that in 10 years will be valueless.
An Airstream, as noted, will likely be worth about what you paid for it in 10 years.
Not to mention the smile factor. I am genuinely fond of my Sovereign.
Can't imagine getting attached to an SOB.

Thanks, I actually took a look tonight at the Outback and for a year old, it had alot of problems and didn't seem that well built. Think I will stick with a AS. Just have to make up my mind as to a 19' vs. a 21-22' AS.
