We are producing a story on a 1960 Airstream #3684 that was registered to Howard and Agnes Newbern of Riverside Calif. Does anyone out there remember them? Howard was on a 1971 Caravan on the Yucatan. Were you on that caravan? If you have leads please contact me.

The other thing you might do is contact the WBCCI chapter that operates in the Riverside CA area. I'm not sure which one that would be but you can get that from WBCCI in Jackson Centre Ohio. They probably have members who would recall the folks you're asking about and/or they still may be members. Also if the club took part in that expedition, they may have photos, films, diaries etc of the trip. If it was a WBCCI caravan, then maybe WBCCI would have records, diaries, pictures etc.

Should you (or ANYONE!) get info on an 'Air' date for this segment, PLEASE be sure to pass it along to all of us, here or in another post on the portal. Just stating the obvious, and I am sure that you were going to be doing that anyway.... but restating the obvious avoids the 'ass-u-me' ing that can make things squirrly sometimes.

Thanks for all of the helpful suggestions to date. We are working with WBCCI, Vintage Caravan Club, Airstream and various Airstream owners. Still looking for someone on Yucatan caravan in 1971. I'll let you know when we have an air date. This is a fun story to produce!
