awwwwww, man! And here I thought "advanced" meant foremost and advantaged!

This the best part. We have found our rear view pano window hanging over the beach, lakes and some gorgeous mountain views. Even when the views not so great - the place and people are new, and, no matter where it be, we get to open our own wine, brew our own coffee, and sleep in our own bed.

UhOh! You appear to be afflicted with a serious genetic configuration shared by many who hang out here. You are clearly at early onset. Fortunately there is a strong support network. Or, maybe we are enabling the addiction. Oh well. Who cares? It's grand!

Just a lead here but in my views of floor plans and space, look at the 1988, 89 29 foot Center Bath Excella. It seems to have an open lounge area that appears larger for lying dogs.

As a closure to this introduction thread, we are now the proud owners of a 1958 Overlander Int'l. We pick it up in Tucson the end of this month. Some of you may recall that Mello Mike had this trailer and did a great deal of the restoration which he chronicled on the Air Forums. Which, I might add, really helped us with information to make our choice on this trailer.
When we get our new prize up to Portland, we will begin the remodeling of the interior to our tastes.

As a trailer noob, this is going to be quite an adventure on many level$ but one that I am looking forward to. I am sure that we will have lots of questions as we move forward. I already spend a lot of time searching the forums and gleaning gems of info.

Any further updates on our progress will be in (hopefully) appropriate areas of the forum.

I am pretty sure it is in the rules somewhere that you do not get to close out a thread without pictures! If not, it should be..... Seriously, congrats! (but we still want pics)

Well I would hate to break "the rules". Here is a pic of our "new" beauty from the ad.
thanks for the congrats. We tipped a few glasses of celebratory wine at my friend's vineyard while sitting in her Silver Streak which serves as a home base during the most intense part of the vineyard work.
