Hi. I am new here.

My husband and I have caught the Airstream bug. I have always wanted an Airstream. We are from Northwest Texas and don't see many here. Where is the best place to start our adventure of deciding which one is right for us.

Welcome, here on the forum, jot your needs down, and start reading, for me it was a wild process that went from 25' used to new to 19' used in space of a week or so. I was so obsessed it was ridiculous

. What I have sinced learned, there r plenty of Airstreams, new and used and to sit back and really decide exactly how It will be used. In my case I travel about 160 nights a year alone using it for work, Bambi is perfect, just enough space. For times my husband joins me as a vacation, still just right. For times grandkids come, still fine for now. Perhaps down the line we will go longer but no need to for now.

If you have the itch, then you are just going to have to scratch it. Welcome to the forums. Glad to have you with us. This is a great group of people.

I believe there is a very active Airstream Club around Fort Worth, Tx. I believe there is a rally April 11-14. I would go to this rally. You will see lots of Airstreams and meet a great group of Airstream Owners. Just bring a tent. It does not matter to them. You will be welcomed either way.

This will give you a month to read the forums and note all the questions you might have when you go to the rally!

Welcome

Welcome, as you start to look around I think you will realize there are more Airstream Trailers in West Texas than you realize. Driving from Midland to Sweetwater yesterday we saw four traveling on I-20, and several more parked in various places along the way. We actually found our trailer in Lubbock. Take your time, read the forums, look at Craig's list and ask a lot of questions, you'll find what you are looking for. There was actually an older Airstream listed in the Midland newspaper just this morning!
