Hi everyone

Nice to say hello to everyone. I am planning to return to rving after about a 30 year lapse. In the mid 70s I converted a Dodge Tradesman van into a cozy camper for two. But then I got busy.
Now that I am about to retire, I am looking to return to the joy of rving only in something a lot more comfortable. The Airsteam Interstate seems to be the best choice but things have changed so much I would appreciate any advice I can get (including how to convince my wife who has never camped in her life ).
Thanks
Bob
P.S. I got the nickname DrBob from my father while in college. It stuck.

Hi Bob, welcome! Good luck converting your wife to the camping lifestyle. One thing that might help - don't scrimp on furnishing your Airstream. Things that make camping more enjoyable for us include nice pots and pans for cooking, great glasses for drinking, a comfortable mattress and pillows, and special trailer slippers. Just because you're camping doesn't mean you have to rough it!
