hello, noobi getting ready to dive in

Hello all
This is my first motorhome, so i am counting on everyone here to keep me out of trouble .
I am going to be the proud owner of a 1984 310, which i am planning on living aboard. Everything works and has been well maintained, except the gen which is not running.
I have about 3 years before I can do the BIG trip so plenty of time to make lots of mistakes. I will post some pics as soon as I get the beasti home.
Andy

Andy:

Congratulations on your new motorhome. If you're anything like us get ready for the trip of your life. Aluminitus gets in your blood and you're a goner. Our first Airstream was a 1982 310 and we are looking for #4 right now. Hope you enjoy it as much as we've enjoyed all of ours.

Thanks for the welcome
It is because of this forum that I decided to go the airstream way. Can you believe I almost bought a biege bucket!!!!!!!! yes the little extra room looked good but as soon as you looked under them aarrrhhhggg! the horror, rusty cheap cr#py construction. It is amazing even the looking at the worst Airstream you can see the basic structure is there just waiting to be resurrected.
It is funny but it is almost like the forum came with the 310 as a accessory, like the ultimate owners handbook.

Andy
