Well, my wife and I just went and bought a 1969 land yacht tradewind. We aren't sure what were jumping into but here we go. I'm Canadian, and my wife is American and we want to see each others countries and figured this would be the way to start. BUT! we have got alot of fixing up to do. I will be hanging around here alot in the future. I am a bit overwhelmed, saggy bottoms, stuck brakes, broken seals, unbalanced running gear, floor rot to the left just inside the door, busted toilet......here we go... great to meet you all and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, all those issues with your TT have been dealt with here in fantastic detail, so you two have a lot of reading to do!
And if you are somewhere in Ontario, you had better let your profile know, since it thinks you are in someplace called "middleville, Michigan"!

Welcome, Im a newbie too, We've had our airstream home 5 days. And yup we had a "little" floor rot and a saggy pan too. This is what she looks like this afternoon! The pink insulation was mixed with lots and lots of mice "stuff" Poor hubby had to go take a shower after all the stuff came crashing down.
The guys and gals on this board are great! They can answer any of your questions. They are all so nice. They say they like pictures. They probably will be sick of me before our project is done.

Look up GT1963. She and her husband Peter live in Peterborough, and they tore apart a big wrecked unit for parts. They will have two of everything you're looking for and no import duty. Fans, toilet, wheels, brakes, furniture, you name it, and they've restored several. She's on the road "Kayaking" right now but will be home Wednesday. See her Silver Wedding Anniversary Surprise - thread. Send her a PM, she's a motivated seller.
