Hello - new here and new '66 Caravel

Hi everyone-
We posted a greeting over at the 1966-1968 Caravel Forum and also want to say Hi to the everyone over here.

We bought our first AS last month after a couple of years of looking for one - yipee! We towed her to Austin from AR and she pulled beautifully but we did have a tire blowout en route - no fun.

Now we're trying to get her ready (and completely safe) to take out to California next summer for a long camping road trip.

Thanks!
Kamila & Billy

Congrats on your new purchase, and welcome to the group. Post some pictures when you are able.

Regards,

Kevin

Congratulations on your find. Took me 2 years of searching all the usual places to find mine and I found my 68 Trade Wind sitting on the side of the road with a for sale sign less than 15 miles from my house! Now that the search is over the fun begins. Welcome to the forums. Great folks here with lots of answers.
