Thought that I would say "HELLO" and begin my quest for answers. I have owned my 1965 Safari for about 3 years and have been using and restoring at the same time. I do have the terrible rear end separation and floor problems in the bath area. I am assuming the rear bath was installed "first" as the trailer was built at the factory. And I also gather that trying to remove the bath components will end up in more disassembly that I had planned. Is this a correct assumption? Thanks in advance. DJ

THe rear bath was installed first from what others have to told me. My rear hatch leaked and my whole bath floor is in shreds. I am unsure if I can remove the bath to replace the floor or not. Time will tell I guess.

Welcome to the forum. The floor repair in the bathroom has been done by other members. You can do a search with the topic bathroom or floor. The new owner of our trailer redid the bathroom floor and has the process on his web site: http://www.balrgn.com/. I actually was quite embarrassed to find the floor was in need of repair since I knew nothing about it but he did a great job.

In my experience the bathroom parts ~ toilet, shower pan, etc. go in first... later the walls... you can work on your floor, but to repair some items you may have to remove a lot of interior... if you need to correct rear end seperation... I would search that phrase with the search button and see what others have done... Good luck!

Hi group, Reading the archives and searching has told me one more thing that I was suspecting about my trailer; IT NEEDS A NEW AXLE. So, I guess that goes to the top of the list in importance. I can live with the bathroom floor for a little while longer.
