hello from texas

This is my first posting to your site and I hope I am doing it correctly. We are not owners of an airstream yet but are seriously looking. My husband and I are both campers and love the outdoors. We have a friend that we vacation with often and he has an older airstream. We have always been impressed with the trailer and the quality of the workmanship. Soon we hope to be proud owners also!

Welcome from California, my wife is from Houston/F.W. areas.
This site has been so helpful to me and I'm sure you'll find the same.
If you're looking for specific info, I would try the search function in the blue bar above. If you can't find what you need, post away and someone will know the answer.
Nice to have you here!
Dave

We are new airstream owners and I can't tell you how helpful this forum has been. I learned alot by lurking before we even bought ours also. There are even classifieds to look through! Your new baby may be there waiting for you. Be sure to come back and post lots of pictures when you find her! (or him)

Welcome Future Airstreamers!

Welcome to the forum!

This is the best place to learn all things Airstream! Grab a cup of coffee look at all the pictures and read the posts... you'll be here about 2 years if you read it all....

What length of Airstream are you interested in? If you already have a tow vehicle and have done some camping you are nearly ready to go... just find a trailer! Any questions, just ask!

Awhile back there was a nice thread on what to consider when buying an airstream. I will post the link below, it might give you ideas.

We have a 1963 Bambi and love the sweet little thing. My hubby spent about 8 - 10 months restoring it, and now we are enjoying it as often as we can!

Here is the link: http://www.airforums.com/forum...eam-22920.html

Again, Welcome!

Welcome! You're close to one of the best Airstream service dealers in the country, Roger Williams Airstream in Weatherford. Check em out. From personal experience and after purchasing my Airstream from another dealer, also in Texas, I highly recommend that you call David Tidmore and check ouT their great inventory. Our Silver Bullet is in David's shop for upgrades, mods and minor repairs now. Good luck with your search and keep us posted on your choice. We love pictures as well.
HAPPY TRAILS
