Hello from Tennessee

What do I have?

Just purchased my AS, it has the following number stamped to it. First set of numbers are on the plate by the door. 04257FJ. On the front ID plate # 129D1-J3275. On the tongue, PA****2823931.

It has has to previous WBCCI #s, they appear to have been "29202" & "10649". These numbers might be off by a number, it was hard to see which # was the original.

Welcome!

I can't help with the id. There are members here who can help. Forum weekends can be sort of slow in summer. This is a big travel weekend for campers. Don't be discouraged if there isn't much action here until Tuesday.

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.

L911,
Welcome to the forum. This is a great place to make internet friends and learn a lot! BTW, I live in Kansas now, but I'm originally from Cleveland, TN and graduated from UT (Knoxville Campus) in 1971.

All my best,

Steve

The trailer tongue has a stamp date of 10/70. It has a single bed on the right/passenger side, Im sure thats origiunal, the other side has stock AS closets & desk. The trailer is actually slightly less than 25' body wise, with the bumpers it might stretch to 29'.

Airstream always measures from bumper to hitch, then "rounds" up or down, whichever is convenient for where the trailer fits into their marketing plan.

The "single" bed on one side was probably originally a gaucho that folded down to a double bed, what you're describing is the original mid-double plan, with cabinetry on one side and a folding couch/double on the opposite.
