Smile Hello from South Dakota

My wife and I just purchased a '76 Overlander 27' last month, and have taken it to 3 different campgrounds already. We love it! We both love to restore things and are enjoying our time together fixing this old girl up. We spent many years tent camping, and had a slide-in pickup camper for the past 4 years. My old boss was the previous owner of this airstream, and I told him 12 years ago when he bought it that he better give me first option to buy if he ever decided to sell. He upgraded to a toy hauler so we were given the opportunity to purchase his AS.

Anyway, we have most weekends this summer planned at various campgrounds, and are already making family memories. This forum is such a treasure of knowledge! Thanks for everything!

Ken and Jacki

Welcome Ken and Jacki! My wife and I are coming up on 2 years with our 'new' 1971 Overlander. We are slowly working through a renovation of the trailer but doing so in a way that we can keep the wheels on the road. We did have it in the Black hills for a very rainy Memorial Day weekend and will be back that way this weekend. Hope to see you on the road down there sometime though Brandon is a long way from the hills!
