We've own the silver thang for almost a week now. Been reading everything I can on re-sealing, as there is interior evidence of leaks. Hoping that the PO did not use the low grade silicone. (He admitted to driving off once with the antenna up, so that will be the first place to work on.
This site seems to have a great bunch of folks, and not as much biting and snarling as some other forums to which I belong.

Hey Bret - welcome to the clan. Everything I own leaks water so I'm a poor source of advice on that subject. There's a good chance that we will meet in person some of the folks that we chat online with here so we keep it civil, unlike most of those online forums populated by keyboard commandos.

Hey Bret , welcome. This is a great place. Just dive right in. If you get in over your head, someone will pull you out. If you get testy, someone will dunk you till you straighten up. John

Welcome from central Texas! Glad to have you on the forums. You can find the answer to all of your questions here. This is a great bunch of helpful people here.
Welcome to the forums Bret. You will find quite a lot of information on this forum that can be real useful for maintaining your Airstream. There are quite a few Airstream owners in the central Texas area that you are likely to meet if you do much camping in this part of the state. Good luck with your water leaks.
Welcome aboard from South South Texas.
Windows and vents are prime suspects. Check around any skylights and fans as the newer models seem to have a lot of discussion about poor mounting. Of course, when they get older (like mine) nothing fits anymore so, it is easy, just keep working your way around and then start over!
Take it out there, go somewhere. It doesn't rain all the time!!
