Hello From South Carolina

Hello everyone. I have a 59 flying cloud. I was told it is a 19 footer but I think it's really a 22. But idk. The title says its a model #229. It has 2 single beds in the rear. one is in the very rear with a dressor and the other is across from the head with drawers under it and a double overhead storage above it. It has a single sink and a little Princess stove. It has a gas furnace attached to the cabinet where the stove and sink are.(works). It has the fold down table in front to make a bed. The 12 vlt. system has a problem but other than that it all works. Dont know if I will persue a restore.I have been using it in my hunt camp for 12 years. When I bought it, it had been in another camp for about 15 yrs. I just wanted to drop in and say Hi to all and I look forward to learning more about the forum. Joe

Welcome to the Forums!

You're right a Flying Cloud is usually called a 21 or 22 foot trailer - but that includes the tongue & bumper, the body is probably about 19 ft.

Regardless...we'd all love to see pics!

Hello Carolina Joe, welcome to the forum. I am a neighbor over in Easley, SC and the proud owner of 2 1975 Airstreams, be careful you'll get the bug bad and have a yard full. I'm not sure if you are aware of the vintage camper rally coming up on Oct. 26 & 27 in Hawiassee GA, at the fairgrounds. There's a lot of talk on the rallys forum under "Falluminum". Look it up and if it sounds interesting to you we would love to have you. It's a great way to hook up with others who have aluninum fever. Good Luck
