Hello from Oklahoma - '77 Excella 500

Hi everyone! My husband is a carpenter and was paid for some work with this RV. It is trashed! We don't know anything about RV's, but are having a ball learning! We know for a fact that it needs electrical work and probably AC and plumbing repair. Due to financial reasons, we are trying to do as much work ourselves as possible. I am so glad to have found this awesome forum! I have been looking at everyone's photo's and I can't wait to show off our "After" pics! I know I will probably hit up for suggestions and advice, so Thank You in advance!!! God Bless!

There are service manuals available, that will tell you about 99 percent of what you need to know, or want to know about your new family member.

That will save you tons of time and money, since it eliminates guess work.

They are available from a few dealers.

Welcome!

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your acquisition!

The folks on this forum are a great resource and encouragement. We have a 1974 Ambassador that we are renovating and have had much help from AirForums friends.

We're in Harrah, OK occasionally and look forward to seeing you at a rally down the road one day. You're welcome to join in on the rallies to gather information and see what others have done -- even before your Airstream is "road ready." http://www.airforums.com/?page=calendar

Welcome from Oregon

Welcome to the forum and Airstreaming! I have to second what Andy said about manuals, I use mine constantly. It is so usefull to know what is where - wiring, plumbing etc. without having exploritory surgery.

Also, we all do love photos - I am probably one of the worst on the forum at putting them up.

Again, welcome aboard!
