Welcome to the forums.

I think that 75 Trade Winds are great!

You should check this out since you live in Albuquerque.

Greetings, kljfamily, and welcome to Airforums! It's so neat to see more fellow New Mexicans join this group!

I'm sure you'll find tons of info here about Airstreams and Airstreaming -- including the upcoming vintage restoration rally that Richard linked to above, to be held out at Enchanted Trails in June. (Wish I could go!)

Here are some pictures. The outside shell is in very nice shape though I will spend a small frotune on stripper getting all the clear coat off as it is in rought shape. No major dents or dings except fro the front left coner which has bondo all over it..booooo.... not sure what to do there.. may just buy some good aluminum and rivet some patches over the bondo work... also my first search is for the kitchen sink panels and the missing walls that go around the fridge. It did come with the original fridge. It si the taller model with separate freezer..but I need all the fictures that surround it that go before the single bed on the left. Also need 2 new matresses...bathroom is in tip top condition!!!

All the lighting, power, pumps work just fine to so really this is not a major project..the toughest part will be the double pane windows.. the have all bubbled and flakes. Its my uinderstanding that I will have to remove them and replace with single pane...ouch $$$

Thumbs up Looking Good

KLJ Family...

Now 'your cook'n with caster oil...

It looks from the one picture above that you are going to need a drop shank for your hitch,(no tension WD bars), Trailer a little nose high.
With a lower tongue you can properly tension the WD bars to level the rig out.

Level the trailer when unhitched, back up the tow vehicle and measure the drop.

Howdy neighbor and congradulations! The 70s 25 footers are indubatably the best streams ever made. But the 71, of course, is the best of any 70s models. See you down the road.
