Hello from New Members.
Hello to everyone and a very happy New Year! We have just joined the Airstream community forum today. My name is Janice and my husband's name is Rod. We own a 1974 Airsteam Ambassador trailer handed down to us from my husband's aunt. She was the original owner and the trailer is in excellent condition.
We have replaced the window coverings throughout front and back with excellent quality draperies from J.P.A. Drapes, Inc., and were extremely satisfied. However, we are looking for replacement "roll-up" shades for the kitchen and rear bath windows. Any suggestions?
Thank you very much. Glad to be onboard!

Welcome to the forums!
There are better looking shades for those windows, but we have not found the ones we want yet. The springs in ours were sprung and I replaced them with shades from Walmart. It was cheap and easy and will do until we find what we are looking for.

Welcome!
Hi Janice and Rod -
Welcome to the Forums and congratulations on your "new" silver beauty. I also have drapes from JPA and I love them. I wanted shades that were just as nice for my kitchen and bathroom windows. I looked everywhere and I ended up buying them at Home Depot. I had them cut to fit. They work great, they look great, and they were very affordable.
Good luck with your trailer and hope you can join us for a CA rally someday. Its a great way to meet Airstreamers in your neck of the woods. Check the rally calendar - there are lots of rallys scheduled for this Spring.
Happy Silver Trails,

Congratulations! Of course we want to hear all about your maiden voyage. Did the gray water back up into your shower? Did you figure how to turn the heat on? Were you concerned that you got the hitch hitched correctly? Just a few things that we would like to hear about.
