Hello from New Hampshire

I want to introduce myself as a new member of the Forums. My name is Warren Parlee from Atkinson, New Hampshire. I am an Airstream wannabe. If all goes as planned, I hope to purchase a new midsize Flying Cloud in 9 to 12 months. I will be new to Airstream and to RVing.

For years I have been ocean kayak camping and the body is now ready for the transition to RVing with the mind trying to catch up.

For my multi-week kayak camping trips, if it did not fit in my hatches, I did not need it. Refrigeration was nonexistent. I enjoyed the minimalistic approach to camping. Not sure what to do with all the Airstream storage lockers on the Flying Cloud or the refrigerator/freezer. I guess that is where I will store my fishing gear and bait.

It will be good to bring my dog, Buzzy, on future trips. He especially likes the Flying Cloud 25 FB Twin. He could easily get use to luxury camping in an Airstream.

Looking forward to engaging in some serious knowledge transfer as the day approaches when Buzzy and I will be doing the dance-of-joy!

Warren

Welcome, Warren! As you're getting ready, you might also want to consider talking with some of the folks near you in the New England Unit of the WBCCI or even attending a rally to get some insight on trailers and such. Here's the website http://newengland.wbcci.net

3 years in I'm still doing the happy dance 😃
