| Hello from Nebraska
We're the Bahrs, Susan and Deon, and we're not only new to this forum but new to Airstreaming (and trailering, period). Our sister and brother-in-law (experienced Airstreamers) asked us to partner with them on this African adventure -- they're going north, we're going south --, so a year ago we jointly bought a 1972 27-footer and have been working on it since. Fortunately it was basically in good condition but lots of little things need doing. As newbies to the trailering life we'll be using these intervening years to get up to speed on hitching, towing, parking and having fun using our "Silver Bullet." We certainly plan to attend the dry camping practice session, whenever and wherever the central US one is held. We'll be attending our first WBCCI rally in Council Bluffs IA early next month.
