Hello from Kentucky!!

Hey guys, I'm Kevin and my wife is Sandra. I am 57 years old. My wife and I have just purchased a 1965 Airstream Over lander International 26'. It needs a lot of work. I'm already enjoying looking thru the post to see the vast amount of knowledge that is here as well as the humor. We have just completed a teardrop build and attende our first teardrop gathering. (Almost completed).
Thanks in advance for help, I'm sure I will need a lot.

Hi Kevin greetings from Lexington and welcome to the forum. Lots of friendly and helpful folk in here. We're new to AS too, but we didn't want to restore, no place to work on one here. Good luck with your labor of love.

Hi Crispy
Sooner or later there's going to be a KY rally when I don't have something else planned During that week I'll be in Wisconsin on our annual guys fishing trip and beer brawl. Our kids are grown and the grand-kids are on the left coast so maybe not so bad to miss this one. Still looking forward to a local rally, though Our last one starts UK in August and we'll be going out on the road more this fall. We're spending a couple of weeks in Florida in September, then, who knows?

Hi again, Kevin. I had some difficulty locating Beechmont, Google and Bing keep wanting to take me to the Beechmont area of Louisville. You're south of Drakesboro in western Kentucky (Muhlenberg county), right?

Kevin and Sandra,

Welcome to the forums and good luck with your 65 Overlander project. As stated, there's a wealth of information here and folks are very willing to share their experiences.

We spent a week north of Lexington the end of last month. Beautiful country.
