Hello from IL!

Hi everyone!
My name is Dan, and I'm from western Illinois. About 4 hours ago I bought a 1970 Soveirgn, I guess I'm not sure if it's a 29' or 31'. I just got it plugged in and unhooked so I'll check in the morning. I've wanted an Airstream since I was a little kid and my grandpa had one that he pulled behind his '77 T-Bird.

Anyways, a little bit about me, I'm 26, married, no kids, and I'm a general contractor during the day.

I hope to do some work on this trailer over the next couple summers while using it on weekends. I'll do my best to take a lot of pictures and I'm sure from time to time I will be asking questions here if I can't find what I need by searching.

I look forward to chatting with each of you on this forum, and I'm pretty excited to be part of the Airstream community!!!!

Dan

Welcome!

Dan, Glad to see another Western Illinois member joining us here on the Forums! Hope you enjoy your new baby. Now you will start the naming process. Don't rush this step... the trailer will point you to the best name if you listen... Happy Trails, Ed

Thanks for the encouragement everyone! So far I've just been cleaning but I plan on replacing the toilet right away, and then ill put some water to her! I also need to replace a valve on one of the 40# aluminum lp tanks and get them filled. I may pick up a new regulator with auto changeover while I'm at it. As far as names go, I'm thinking Mrs. Jones.
