Hello From Buffalo, NY
Hello All,
I've just taken delivery of a 2003 Classic 30' SO.
My grandfather had a 1967 30' that was destroyed by a tree falling on it in 1998. I'm very happy to have an Airstream back in my life!!
Now it's a lot of learning & cleaning.

I was raised in Buffalo. We did a lot of camping in the area when I was a kid, but we did not have an Airstream. We were tenters. There is a lot of nice scenery in the area, during the summer, when the snow melts.

Congratulations on getting your Airstream, and good luck getting it in shape.
I have relatives in Alden, and further SW in the state near Sherman and Ripley (Dad's side of the family were dairy farmers in the area, and he and his brother, sisters, and parents also worked the vineyards in the Ripley and Westfield area. Beautiful area (in the summer) and I have lots of great memories of that countryside.
A few years ago, I made a trip to Rochester with my brother to trade in a 32' trailer on a huge toy hauler. On the way back with the new trailer, we stayed at Four Mile Creek State Park on the shore of Lake Ontario. That was a nice place.... wish we could have stayed longer.
Wife and I hope to make it to your neck of the woods sometime soon.

Welcome to the forums from Pittsburgh, I spent many - many nights at the Fairfield Inn Buffalo Airport while I was working the area (Ha before I retired).
