Hello from Afghanistan...

Just finishing up another deployment in beautiful Afghanistan and looking forward to getting back to Washington in less than three weeks. I am a long time follower, but decided to finally join. We are on our second coach and love it. My wife has already planned out several trips for my return and I'm excited to get out and see something other than war. Hope to run into some of you one day soon.

On behalf of our many Air Forums members, I would like to be the first to thank you for your service in Afghanistan. Glad you decided to join Air Forums and we wish you all the best in returning home safely and getting reunited with your family, your airstream, and your many friends back home. We hope to get a chance to meet you someday so we can thank you in person. All the best,

As the father of two service members, Army and Marines, Let me add my thanks and congratulations on a successful deployment. My oldest son returned saturday 5/04 from his second deployment (air support 101st airborne) and I hope your parents are as proud and happy for you as we are for Chase. If your travels ever take you near Mapleton UT consider this an invitation to stop by. Right on your way by to Zions, Arches, etc.

Get home safely, and enjoy lots of family time out on the road. I hope our trailers cross paths so I can thank you personally for your sacrifice, but until then, THANK YOU!

I echo the thoughts of the others, and like Aviator said your sacrifice's and desire to serve others, allow all of us to travel in our Airstreams with our families and friends. Take a long trip and enjoy. Thank you for all you've done.

Awesome! I am out here at Camp Bastion and will be returning home to my wife and our FC in less than a month. It has been my honor to be serving my country and fellow military members for these past several years out here.

Thank you for your service. Fairchild & Geiger Field are a great place to have as a duty station. We enjoyed visiting there when my father was stationed at FAFB ... also visited as a cadet ... but USN flight training called...another lifetime ago!
