Hello from a South Texas GG

Hi All! My wife and I have been into AS for two years now and are though-o-ly enjoying the full time life style. We retired several years ago and are on our third TT. We just bought a 34' Excella and are really happy with it. Our previous TT were a 16' and then a 28' Argosy. (Do we notice a trend here?). At present we're Gate Guarding in Gillett,Texas. We do this for about 6 months and then travel. There would be more travel and less guarding except for the price of diesel fuel. Anyway, we're planning on doing more traveling and less guarding now we've saved up a bit. We've been lurking on Airstream forums for about a year now and and now r an Ex-perte. Thanks to all for the great knowledge base you've amassed here. It has been and continues to be a great database for us AS challenged mere mortals......Jim and Carol

Welcome guys,
We were in Goliad last weekend at the State Park. Ran into another couple doing the gate guard thing for the oilfields. They were driving a great big old 1976 bus. They said the same thing about the price of fuel.
Every time I hear of people stepping up in length it makes me go peruse the classifieds.... (-: Congrats!
