Hello folks I've had my Aistream since 1987

But I know it is much older than that.

We live in northern Michigan and I purchased this one for 1200 bucks back then. We have used it a lot and then put it away for a few years. Everything works although in the shower the toilet flapper has long since been useless . Plus the bowl seems to be offset so that it can fit in the corner, that means a modern one is a no go so far. It has the old TV aerial and the canopy still. It is very much original and the only cobbling done by a previous owner was around the door.

Anyway here are a few pics and If any one can help me with the ID number and any info derived from that please lend me a helping hand. I can sink some money, (finally), into the Airstream to keep her shiny and as original as I can.

Hope this helps you with the Id. I am used to this style of forum and I will look forward to participating.

Arlen, Thanks

Looks like an Ohio-built 1954 Flying Cloud 22'
Serial numbers run from O- 3155 to O- 3244.

Just curious why it gives both locations on the placard?

Vinnie, my '66 has both manufacturing plants too, Jackson, OH. and Santa Fe, Ca. but the serial number tells the actual birth 'place'.

Old Wally was a shrewd businessman...why foot the cost of having two dies made for Serial Number Nameplates, when you could put both names on one plate - then use separate series of S/N's for each location...
