Hello Everyone!
Hi! My wife and I just brought home our "new" '77 31 ft Soverign. Our old pride & joy, the '78 Winnebago Chieftain, was severely fire damaged last fall so we decided to find an Airstream to replace the Winnie. The Soverign is nice, but it needs some TLC. We're really excited about our Airstream, so I hope you all won't get tired of me bombarding you with questions. Any tips for a new owner?

A new owner's tip! Here's a tip from a new owner. Enjoy! Set yourself small tasks and when you've finished, pat yourself on the back and relax on the sofa for 5 minutes! Lol! Never forget that it was bought specifically to lower your blood pressure, make you a nicer person, enjoy life! Xx!

Parrotheads and Airstreams go together!
Welcome. You'll probably find that your Airstream will become a big silver tube you throw your money into...and you'll delight in it, as perverse as that sounds.

I've finally loaded some photos
I finally loaded up a few pictures of the "Port of Indecision II". We're trying to get it ready to roll for a trip next month. I still need to install the water heater, finish the new plumbing and get the hitch set up. I just found out that the fridge is shot, so I need to swap it out, too. The trailer as a whole is in very good condition for its age. We can't wait to use it! By the way, does anyone have a spare propane tank they would like to sell? Mine only came with one.

Welcome to the Airstream life in Kansas! There's not a lot of Kansas Airstreamers on these forums. Where is Cherokee, KS? We hail from Abilene & Topeka originally.

Cherokee is in extreme SE Kansas -- 12 mi from MO and 30 from OK. This is the old coal mine country.
