Gee, after all that work and being in love with it, I'd be crying, too, at leaving the Flying Cloud. We also have a '62 FC and are attempting restoration. I already paid more for new bed cushions (just covered foam, not upholstery) than I paid for the whole trailer! But I love it anyway. And I sew, so will be doing my own curtains and upholstery. My husband says we will take it to a rally in VanCouver in July: use a porta-potty, wash in a handbasin, keep food in a cooler, and maybe cook outdoors on a campstove. You can see how love causes one to ignore all the faults... (I meant the trailer's, not my husband's great ideas).
Yours is a real find: polished and all fixed up! Best of luck to you, and be sure to join WBCCI and local groups: it's a great club.
