hello all, new streamer

Hi folks,

Just picked up a 67 safari. I'm glad I found this site, it looks like I'll be here often to help w/ the restore process.

welcome to the forums. not sure what your plans are but here's a link to the major renovations;

you'll see my own thread on there for my '56 flying cloud, boy oh boy.... if you ever want to see what a torn apart trailer looks like feel free to PM me as i'm near you in venice.

this is a great forum and you'll find months and months of reading material within the walls. enjoy!

*by asking the above question,
i verify that i have already used
the search feature to the best of my ability...

Hi Tombkeeper and welcome aboard.

Let me guess you work at Forest Lawn?

Here's the good news. This place has so many talented people that have done restorations and have posted the hows and whys with pictures. I am sure whatever needs fixin on your trailer someone here has done it and will help you to do it too.

Take a look on the Portal page and you'll see the Calstreamers yak thread and various rally threads. The Calstreamers are just a bunch of folks from the Forums that go camping about once a month. No membership or dues just join in and have fun.

See you around the campfire.

Welcome to our giant shared mania. P.S. I thought a tomb WAS a keeper-few get out of them alive.

As a former "LAalien" myself I can attest to the fact that the best thing you can do in life is use that trailer to help you escape the city as much as possible. I had the pleasure of spening an entire summer in the Seirra- Nevada mountains and the only thing that could have made it better was having an Airstream at the time. "Streamin'" has changed our life. I hope it will make your life better as well.

Courtesy parking-- water, elect. and wi-fi.
To those who are about to Stream-I salute you!
