Hello All!

My wife and I are avid world travelers. After I retired early I decided to travel all over North America on my BMW motorcycle. I did that for several years and met my beautiful wife who would join me on the journey. All told I did about 100,000 miles on that back of that bike traveling all 50 states, all of the provinces and most of the territories in Canada and even some of Mexico. Then we moved on to Europe, Southeast Asia and South Africa. I'd already done much of South America and the Caribbean in my early days.

Needless to say we love to travel. We love hiking too, we've hiked the entire John Muir Trail (220 miles) over a three week period and are hoping to add many other long distance hikes to our adventures.

Now we are considering a reverse snowbird RV lifestyle, in particular "airstreaming". We've both been RV'ers in the past but have never owned an AS and are excited about the possibilities. My wife gave me several wonderful years of living in the Rockies, now we are looking to buy a beach house for the winters and Airstream spring, summer, fall back in the Rockies.

This is a great forum. I've been lurking for several weeks and have been amazed at all the great information and helpful nature of the fellow airstreamers! We look forward to learning more and hopefully adding in some helpful information ourselves in the future.

Bearii,

Welcome to the forums and a future welcome to Airstreaming. It sounds like you already know you'll enjoy the adventure and travel.

Hope to cross paths someday,

Roy and Marie
