Hello Airstream folks

My name is Rex and I am new to the forums and hope to be an RV owner soon. Today, I looked at a 96 AirStream Cutter. It has a Ford 460 and a John Deere chassis. I did not know that JD ever ventured into the motorhome or truck chassis world. Do any of you have this configuration, and if so, how do you like it, what malfunctions if any have you had with this combination, etc.

Thanks,

Rex

Hi Rex, I'm not a M.H. owner and can't help you, I just wanted to extend a warm welcome to the forums.
There are quite a few M/H. owners here, they should reply before long.
Nice to have you,
Dave

Hi Rex,

Welcome to the Forums. Sadly I can't help with your question but someone who knows will be along shortly.

Give the search function a try while you wait.

I called JD and yes, they were in the chassis business for a while, but told me that they spun that unit off to Fregihtliner.
