hello

just thought i would pop in and introduce myself...hi i'm jer..kinda feel like i'm attending some sort of online recovery group. just found this site and just from the little bit of browsing around in here i've done it looks like a great resource! i just bought a '66 caravel on e-bay and i'm chomping at the bit to dig into her and finish upgrading her and adding my personal touch. it's my first airstream...and something tells me, now that i finally have one in my hands on one, it won't be my last! right now i just can't bring myself to go out there in the sub-zero cold to work on her and it's driving me nuts! but anyway hello and i hope to be meeting some of you soon!

You should take a drive over Poncha Pass to Saguache. There is a lady there whose name is Lindy. She has been working hard on her trailer for the past few month's. Her user name here is lucymcdog. I'd bet she'd be glad to hear from you. She has a 1960 18' Traveler.
If you don't know how to find her here. Just go to the members list. There is a search button on the right, click on it then type lucymcdog in the window. There are a number of threads she has started. You could also send her a private message.

Do you pull it with the Toyota?

Wow - looks very nice - and you live in a wonderful town - I was there back in August for the RMVAC rally ....

If you are looking for an excuse to take it somewhere and want to know more about it - check out the Vintage Restoration Rally in June - - - in Albuquerque...
EZ drive....

holy cow!...you guys sure know how to make a feller feel welcome. wow thank you....let's see where to start. thanks tg for the heads up on the lady over in saguache i'll have to look her up and yes i do pull her with the toyota...well the one pull i've done anyway. it was a good one though. from ft. worth texas back home here to south central colorado...through some hellacious wind and a white out over the top of raton pass! uh ken yeah the rally down in burque sounds good i grew up in albuquerque so i know where it is...it's actually part of the u.s. ...lol and yeah i heard there were a bunch o' streamers here last summer. i really wanted to get up to the fairgrounds to see them all but august is usually pretty busy for me ( i guide flyfishing trips on the arkansas river) and lisa...no name yet...the best the wife and i have come up with so far is lola..but we're not sure yet whether or not this fits her
thanks again all for the great welcome i think i'm really gonna like this airstreamin' stuff
