Hello- 1st post!

My wif3e and I recently purchased a 2007 19' International Ocean Breeze model. This is our first RV and we are both excited about owning an Airstream. We took our first trip to Moab, UT this month and it was great.
I do have a question that hopefully I can get some help on. Seems to be the hot water heater doesn't seem to get the water warmer than luke warm-warm at best. Is there a way to adjust the setting? The service center we purchased from is backed up right now, and was hoping I could do this myself.

Thanks much!

Welcome to the forum and the wonderful life of owning an Airstream! Love your interior, we have the same in our Safari. Yes you can make this fix yourself. If you look where your hot water heater is located next to the water pump there are blue and red PEX lines. There should be a pair of mixing valves so that you can regulate the amount of hot vs. cold.

Hope Rick and Sandi were able to help you with your hot water heater questions because I wouldn't have a clue what to do about that other than use the Search function. You came to the right place to find the answers though. You can find the answer to just about any questions concerning an Airstream here. If you can't find it - just ask. Somebody's bound to have an answer for you.

But I too wanted to welcome you to the Forums and to Airstreaming. We're glad you're here. Enjoy your new International. Post pictures when you get a chance.

hi mNm' and welcome the forums!

congrats on the new trailer.

there is no customer access temperature adjustment on the water heater,

and IF it's electric ONLY, it takes a long time to get really hot.

IF you also have the lp gas heating option, that warms the water much faster.

IF the lack of warmth is only a shower issue, the handle/mixing valve can be adjusted...

IF it is the entire trailer and happens after allowing PLENT OF TIME for the water to warm...

there may very well be construction DEBRIS in the water lines or at the valves...

and debris in the lines can greatly affect temperature mix and water pressure.

all of the true things that i am about to tell you are shameless lies. l.b.j.

we are here on earth to fart around. don't let anybody tell you any different. k.v.
