Guest house for now.

My wife and I just purchased our 1st Airstream, a 1963 Tradewind, unmodified and well kept. The forum has really helped in the earliest phase of our learning and I am shure to need more help. We have put it on our daughter and son in law's rural place 100 miles from our home to serve as our space there and their guest cottage. We are expecting our first grandchild in November and this will make it easy to share with them and be less intrusive. We are tickled.

Congrats on your new Airstream! The older ones sure have that wow factor that the new ones don't, in my opinion. I'm going to go to a few rallies this year so i can see some of the vintage models and of course to meet new friends. I'd love to buy one in the future. Congrats on the new future family member also..

Welcome aboard !

Yup, I got my grandson and his dad visiting us for the week along with other family members. To maintain my wife's and my sanity we put them in the Safari. Boy, what a life saver! My grandson also thinks it's "so cool" sleeping in the trailer.
